I'm curious. How do you deal with stress? I was reading online all these little cheap things you could do to make yourself feel better; look at flowers, pet your dog, go for a walk, etc. Those all seem nice but I am curious if there are some better more "out there" solutions. If you're like me, small things are always a fun pick me up. Yesterday in the mail I got this super tiny box and inside was this great little box with a small sailboat on waves. You turn the crank and the waves move. So simple and small - perfect little thing. Here's the shop where you can get your own moving sailboat to ease your pain: Cartoon Monster

That sailboat is a cutie! As for me, I love a great song. Music can really pick up my mood. I love Christian worship music. Music by the likes Revive, Audrey Assad & MercyMe touch my soul. A bit of prayer always helps too.
Honestly? I usually freak out, act crabby, declare that I'm having a crisis, drink too much coffee, and/or cry. If, however, I'm doing a better job at being introspective, I'll try to make myself get out in the evening and go to a coffee shop and do whatever I feel like. ...Or I try to ask myself, "what do I need?" ...listening is sometimes the hard part. (good question, btw)
Jeannie,
I am HUGE on music. It's like food or air or anything else I need. :-D Thanks for reading!
Alisha,
I love your honest answer. I have had a freak out or two myself ;-)Thanks very much!
Interesting question! Thinking about it, I realize I do one of two things: I either go on a mad cleany frenzy (and then end up with a wonderfully clean house which makes me happy) or I go out and go for a walk. I realize both of those things involve physical exertion. I guess that's workout out my stress! I love your little sailboat box.
Kelly! I so did that today. I organized everything. I am not much of a spray clean kinda gal but I LOVE to throw things away and create organized spaces. It is great exercise. I ate cookies while I cleaned though so...ooopsies.
